			Ä To assist Hong Kong investors in cleaner production in the Pearl River Delta, we have been registered as Environmental Service Providers in the Cleaner Production Partnership Programme of the HKSAR government. Hong Kong investors can now be assisted by us and subsidized by HKSAR government for cleaner production in the Pearl River Delta. Ä We have been appointed to be the Independent Environmental Checker for Decommissioning of the Former Kai Tak Airport other than the North Apron Ä People spend most of their time in an indoor environment, at home, in offices, commercial premises or restaurants. It is important to ensure that the indoor air quality is suitable for our daily living. We are becoming more involved in indoor air quality work. We have conducted indoor air quality assessment for numerous offices and commercial premises. Ä Besides indoor air quality, we are honoured to be able to participate in the consultancy service on review of air quality objective and development of a long term air quality strategy for Hong Kong. Ä Cold water thawing of frozen meat is widely adopted in restaurants, hotels and other related industries. We have now developed effective and environmental use of this method to speed up the thawing process and, at the same time, to minimize the use of water and sewage treatment. This equipment is called THAW01 and was granted patent in 2006. Ä We have been successful to apply the use of enzymes and kitchen management to assist commercial kitchens in obtaining trade effluent surcharge reduction. We are now assisting a large catering group to achieve savings in operation costs in its catering outlets while contributing to environmental protection in this respect. Ä As the world is becoming more and more conscious of global warming, we are privileged to become a Technical Partner to a major business operation to review its carbon footprints employing GHG Protocol of World Business Council for Sustained Development and possible carbon footprints reduction.
